Fresh Thai Herbs & Aromatics

The aromatics behind authentic Thai flavour

Thai cooking depends on a small group of fresh aromatics: the citrus perfume of kaffir lime leaves, the peppery bite of galangal, the lemon notes of lemongrass and the heat of bird’s eye chili. Dried or frozen substitutes lose much of their aroma, which is why Thai restaurants, hotel kitchens and Asian food distributors around the world buy them fresh from Thailand.

TCLI sources these herbs from Thai growers, then sorts, grades and packs them for export. You can order them together with Thai vegetables and fruit in one mixed shipment.

Build a mixed herb shipment

Most of our food service and distribution customers do not need a full pallet of a single herb. They need a steady weekly supply of 10 to 30 different items. We consolidate herbs, Thai vegetables and fruit into mixed shipments, packing items with similar temperature requirements together to protect shelf life.

  • Graded and packed in Thailand, ready for your warehouse or kitchen
  • Food service and bulk pack sizes Standard 5 kg and 10 kg cartons, with 1 kg inner bags for food service
  • Air freight for short shelf-life herbs and leaves
  • Phytosanitary certificate and export documents prepared for each shipment

Quality and shelf life

Fresh herbs are living products, so handling after harvest matters as much as growing. We pre-cool, sort and pack quickly, and keep produce in temperature-controlled storage until it leaves Thailand. Each product page lists our recommended storage temperature so your team can keep the herbs fresh after arrival.
