Ripe mango for desserts, green mango for salads

Thai sweet mangoes are fragrant, smooth and fibre-free, the variety behind mango sticky rice. Green mangoes are eaten crunchy: sweet green mango as a snack, and sour green mango shredded into Thai salads. We supply each type for its intended use, graded by size and ripeness.

How kitchens use it

Ripe mango is used for mango sticky rice (khao niao mamuang), fruit platters, breakfast buffets, smoothies and desserts. Sour green mango is the base of Thai green mango salad (yam mamuang) and is served with fish sauce and chili dips.
